Juventus Won Dramatically over Spezia
Juventus won a dramatic victory with a score of 3-2 when they visited the Spezia headquarters in Week 23 of the Italian Serie A, Monday (22/2/2021) early morning WIB. This victory makes the Bianconeri back up to third place in the standings.
Juventus had left earlier in this match after Tommaso Pobega's goal in the 32nd minute. However, they managed to reply through Cristiano Ronaldo in the 38th minute. Spezia regained the lead through Roberto Piccoli's goal in the 62nd minute, before Alvaro Morata scored an equalizer for Juventus in the 70th minute.
Juventus' victory was finally confirmed by Federico Chiesa's goal in the 73rd minute. This result made Juventus collect 45 points from 23 matches and shifted AS Roma from third place in the standings.
However, this victory was not easy to obtain because Juventus had difficulty penetrating Spezia's defense which proved to be very solid. However, the quality of the Juventus players finally overcame Spezia's resistance and brought the Bianconeri to a very important victory.
Juventus coach, Andrea Pirlo, admitted that this victory was very meaningful for his team in improving their position in the standings. However, he also criticized his team's performance which was still not optimal.
With this victory, Juventus has further strengthened its position at the top of the Serie A standings and further strengthened their chances of retaining the title this season.
